Dr. Shahadat Hussain is a materials researcher focused on additive manufacturing and smart alloys. At New York University Abu Dhabi, he develops additive manufacturing processes for interpenetrating phase composite (IPCs), hybrid manufacturing, and designs TPMS metamaterials (Schwarz primitive, gyroid) cubes and beams. He combines in-depth characterization (SEM, XRD, EDS, thermal) with mechanical testing to enable next-generation architected materials.
